In April 2019 Maidstone Borough Council recognised a climate and biodiversity emergency. It is seeking views from residents on: how they would like to see climate changed addressed; the actions they would support MBC in taking; the actions they may take themselves; the importance to them of biodiversity, the number and variety of animal and plant life and ways to protect them.  The information gathered will be used to inform MBC's action plan to address climate change and enhance biodiversity.

You can give your views by completing a short survey.  It takes about six minutes and can be accessed via MBC's web page https://www.maidstone.gov.uk/home/primary-services/council-and-democracy/additional-areas/have-your-say/tier-3-primary-areas/current-consultations.  The survey will remain open until 20th March 2020.
