Robin Kenworthy

The Parish Council was very sorry to hear of the passing of Robin Kenworthy on 16th January 2023. He has worked tirelessly for Staplehurst for very many years.

Robin served as a Governor of the South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Trust. He championed improvements for disabled people. With his dear friend, Robin Oakley, he co-founded the ‘Friends of Staplehurst Health Centre’. He was involved in our Neighbourhood Plan since its beginning. Robin and his wife Christine also collated and delivered Parish Council newsletters for many years. Robin researched everything, especially medical and environmental matters, very thoroughly and amazed everyone with his tenacity and acumen. He will be greatly missed.

The Parish Council extend condolences to Christine and his family
