Following the announcement of the closure of the High Weald Academy, Cranbrook, and the strength of feeling expressed by parents at our recent community meeting, the Parish Council has prepared a letter which has been sent today to Simon Beamish, CEO of Leigh Academies Trust. This is an open letter and has also been copied to a wider audience, details at the end of the letter.

The Parish Council fully supports the provision of a non-selective secondary school in the Cranbrook area.
