Traffic Calming Scheme Cranbrook Rd /Church Hill
Staplehurst Parish Council
The Parish Council has received early notification from Kent County Council (KCC) on traffic calming measures to be implemented on the Cranbrook Rd/Church Hill. The works will take place at the end of March/early April 2021 (dates to be confirmed nearer the time).
The work consists of installation of roundels, dragons’ teeth, slow and speed marking in the road, new speed signs and new Village Gateway signage.
These works will be carried out under a night time road closure between the hours of 7pm and 6am so as to avoid too much disruption to road users and will take approximately 2 weeks to complete.
The Parish Council have worked hard to get these measures in place and hope that this will enable a safer and slower access in and out of the village.
When KCC confirm dates, this article will be updated.
