Staplehurst Parish Council has accepted the offer by the Trustees of the Jubilee Field Management Committee to surrender the management lease of the Jubilee Field.

The Parish Council is going through the legal requirements and aim to have a smooth transition to the Council managing the Jubilee Field in the near future.

We are working with the Girl Guides Association to ensure their rights remain in-tact until new legal agreements (lease) are in place as agreed with the Girl Guides Association

Cllr Paddy Riordan, Chairman if Staplehurst Parish Council said “ We are very grateful to the Trustees for their long service to the community as Trustees of the Jubilee Field.

We want to reassure everyone that we will honour the existing arrangements and are working with the Girl Guides and Football Clubs for the long term success of the Jubilee Field”

Jackie Barker, Girl Guides District Commissioner said “We thank the Trustees for all their hard work over the years and look forward to working with the Parish Council to make the Jubilee Field a success in the future".
