VOLUNTEERS FOR WIMPEY FIELD NEEDED

Medway Valley Countryside Partnership (MVCP) has written an up-to-date 10-year management plan for Wimpey Field, following on from the previous decade’s plan provided by the housing developer’s ecological consultants.

As well as continuing to manage the site predominately for wildlife, including amphibians and reptiles, MVCP aims to reduce some of the blackthorn scrub and bramble which is starting to take over the site.

MVCP will be holding 8 volunteer task days throughout the year to complete works, plus wildlife surveys throughout the field season.
