Staplehurst Village Clean-Up

It’s the return of our Clean-Up morning, so come along to the Youth Club in the High Street at 10am. Sign in (MBC insure us), collect a litter-picker, a sack, a hi-viz vest and be given a road to clear of rubbish. Then just return your sack and equipment and enjoy some well-earned refreshments.

Basic First Aid & Defibrillator Awareness Training - Non certificated

To register your interest, please email poppysdaynursery@gmail.com  or by telephone 01580 892600 with your name and contact number and upon receipt of this they will confirm your place.

The training is being run by 2 highly skilled Medic Trained Police Officers

Limited spaces, on a first come first served basis.

The Staplehurst Horticultural Society Prize Quiz & Chip Night. A general quiz for teams of six with an optional fish & chip supper, 6.30 for 7p.m. at The Staplehurst School. Discounted tickets at £5 entry + £5 F&C available only at The Staplehurst Horticultural Society Autumn Show on 8th September or £6 per person for entry + £6 for supper when paid for on quiz night. All drinks, glasses, snacks & cutlery to be supplied by quizzers with proceeds to Staplehurst Horticultural Society.

Gardening, the well-known giver of health, longevity and pleasure not only to the doers but also to the lookers and consumers, is awaiting your participation.

To start your course of mind and body fitness visit the South Hall, Village Centre at 8pm on the third Tuesday of the month when illustrated talks help you accumulate knowledge of Horticulture and The World in a stress free friendly atmosphere.
