Christmas Timetable operating from 24th December

A Christmas timetable will be operating between 24 December to 3 January.

Engineering work will also mean replacement buses at key areas on the network including routes to and from Lewisham over the whole period and at various other locations. Please see further below for more details.

Christmas Eve

The network will close earlier than usual, no trains running after approximately 22:00

Christmas Day and Boxing Day

No Southeastern services running

27- 30 December

New Years Eve

Revised timetable operating with additional late night trains running from London on many routes

Engineering work at Lewisham

27 December 2021 - 3 January 2022

There will be changes to our services through Lewisham over the festive period. This is so that essential track replacement work can be carried out to help improve reliability.

Trains will run again as normal from Tuesday 4 January.

Please check before you travel and thanks for bearing with us.

Buses will replace trains on the following dates

Network Rail engineers are replacing switches and crossings - moveable sections of rail that guide trains from one track to another and allow them to cross paths - between St Johns / Lewisham to Grove Park and along the Sidcup line.

This £8m project, part of the £1.25bn South East Upgrade, is being carried out over the holiday period as typically fewer people travel during this time.

Monday 27 / Tuesday 28 December

• Lewisham and Dartford via Sidcup.
• Lewisham and Hayes.
• Swanley and Strood/Rochester

Wednesday 29 - Friday 31 December:

• Lewisham and Hayes.
• Lewisham and Sidcup.

• Lewisham and Orpington.
• Lewisham and Dartford via Sidcup.
• Lewisham and Hayes.

Saturday 1 January only:

• Sevenoaks and Ashford via Maidstone East

Sunday 2 January only

• Folkestone and Deal
• Canterbury East and Dover
