Annual Parish Meeting
2021 Annual Parish Meeting
Between March and end of May the parish is required to hold an Annual Parish Meeting, typically the Council organise this.
Unfortunately we were unable to hold one last year due to being in full lockdown and this year we are struggling again as restrictions haven’t been lifted sufficiently to allow a meeting in person.
With this in mind, in order to meet the legal requirements we will hold an Annual Parish Meeting via Zoom on Wednesday 5th May 2021 (we have to hold it before the 6th May if it’s to be virtual). Regrettably because we are in an election period of sensitivity, it won’t be possible for our Borough and County Councillors to make their usual presentations and answer questions so they will be sending written reports. These and the reports from our local groups are published below.
However, the Council would really like to hear from residents and as such would propose that we hold a Residents Meeting later in the summer, when hopefully restrictions will be fully lifted and we can gather in a more normal way. We can then have the usual presentation and perhaps an interesting guest speaker, ensuring everyone can have an opportunity to attend and participate.
Should you still wish to attend on the 5th, please email admin who can send you a link.
