Representatives of David Wilson Homes have notified that, on Monday 11th May 2020, construction work will recommence on the company's Dickens Gate (Hen & Duckhurst Farm) site in Marden Road. The notification states:

"Housebuilder David Wilson Homes, who is building its Dickens Gate development in Staplehurst, has announced it is set to start a phased re-opening of its construction sites in Kent from Monday 11th May. Initially the housebuilder will be reopening 3 sites across the region – including Dickens Gate on Marden Road in Staplehurst. Works will be prioritised on already sold plots at advanced stages of construction.

In line with the latest guidance from Government, Public Health Authorities and the Construction Leadership Council, a set of working practices and protocols have been developed by David Wilson Homes so that its construction sites can operate safely."
