IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR GP SURGERY PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

We are pleased to inform you that from Tuesday, 1 April 2025, The Mote Medical Practice will be responsible for your care and treatment at Staplehurst Health Centre. This change will make sure you continue to receive the same services at your surgery.

NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) is responsible for making sure all residents of Kent and Medway have access to general practice (GP) services. The current provider of GP services Malling Health Four at Staplehurst Health Centre gave notice in 2023 of their intention to end their contract at the end of March 2025.

To make sure all patients registered at Staplehurst Health Centre continue to receive GP services, the ICB has arranged for Mote Medical Practice to take over from Malling Health Four.

With Mote Medical Practice providing GP services, there will be no change to the opening hours or telephone number. Patients can continue to access Staplehurst Health Centre as usual.

You do not need to take any action. However, if you do not wish to receive care from The Mote Medical Practice, you have the right to register with another GP practice, if you are in their catchment area.
