We have been notified by Maidstone Borough Council that a programmed inspection of highway trees has identified safety critical works.

Works will be carried out to trees within Staplehurst that may be subject to a tree preservation order or located within a conservation area.

So, if you see contractors working on trees in and around Staplehurst in various locations; it is most likely part of the safety work that has been authorised.
